WAMKELEKILE – WELKOM - WELCOME

The North Campus – situated adjacent to the South Campus in Summerstrand, Port Elizabeth – houses two state-of-the-art Engineering Buildings with excellent facilities. This campus is also home to a Bitumen Lab, a full Conference Centre, many of the university’s support services and the country’s oldest Art School.

North Campus has residence facilities for over 1000 students and also offers sport facilities and recreational areas including a food court and a 650-seater auditorium.

A number of academic programmes are offered on this campus and include degrees and diplomas in engineering, nursing, science, information technology, environmental health and the arts.

The campus boasts a Muslim Prayer Room, the institution’s Alumni Centre and a clinic. It is also home to Innoventon, a research institute whose principle research focus is in Product and Process Development.

Situated a mere 500m from the beach, this campus makes for very pleasant lunch times walks and swims.
